The Esther Foundation Business Committee
An Esther Business Committee was formed to take on the responsibility of creating more awareness of our organisation in the community, while encouraging individuals and businesses to become more involved on a financial level. This, with the agenda to raise funds toward a property that will ultimately house fifty young women and their children; with commercial facilities, recreation areas, crèche, special care unit, group therapy room and administration area.
The EBC, as it was known, achieved both the funding, deployment and delivery of the 2008-2012 Business Plan and an extensive Feasibility Study with relation to the organisations capacity to raise funds over the years ahead.
With the Hon. Colin Barnett now very busy as the State Premier and with Dr Mark Hands, John McGrath, Graham McCorkill and Damien Eves also now released from their roles with this committee; the organisation can only offer its greatest appreciation for the guidance and experience that was made available to the Esther Foundation for some years.
